This just happened:
Kid #1: "Miss Stephanie, you look kind of fat today."
Me: "Oh."
Kid #1: "Like, not a lot, just a little."
Kid #2: " She doesn't look fat!"
Me: "Oh, well, thanks I . . . "
Kid #2: "Who knows? Maybe she's having a baby and just doesn't realize it yet!"
Me: " . . . . . . Long Pause . . . . . . . . No. No, somehow I don't think that's the problem."
Ah, the taste of humility.
Children will definitely do that for you! What I was trying to tell you earlier today was that someone said to me today: "Eres no bonita" In case you don't speak Spanish, that translates directly to: "You are not pretty." hahaha Gotta love the job! Sincerely Stephanie, you look great and I have been loving your curly hair lately!!
